Refund Policy

flow is free, so there is usually nothing to refund

1. We do not charge you to hold an account, to browse events, to reply to them, to bring guests or to host your own. There is no membership and no fee.
2. We do not sell tickets. Where an event costs money to attend, you are paying the organizer or the venue, not us.
3. So in almost every case there is no payment between you and us, and nothing for this policy to be about. The rest of this page says what to do anyway, because "we never charge you" is not an answer to somebody who is out of pocket.
4. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and uses the same defined terms. Nothing here reduces your rights as a consumer under Dutch law.

If you paid for a ticket

1. Your contract is with whoever sold it. Ask them, on their terms, and their own refund policy applies.
2. Where the listing sent you to another site to buy, that site sold it. Where you paid at the door or by transfer, the organizer or the venue did.
3. We do not hold that money, we cannot return it, and we cannot make somebody else return it.
4. Tell us anyway if an organizer takes money and does not put the event on, or will not answer you. We cannot refund you, but we can act on the listing and on the host, and a pattern of it is exactly the kind of thing that gets somebody removed from flow.

If an event is cancelled or changed

1. A host can cancel or move an event. Where they do, we tell the people who replied.
2. Whether you get money back is between you and whoever you paid.
3. Where we organized the event, come to us. If we cancel and cannot reschedule, we return anything you paid us directly for it.

If an association pays us for a page

1. An association plan is a paid subscription and this is where its refund terms live.
2. A plan is billed for a period and renews until it is cancelled. Cancelling stops the next payment, and the page keeps its features to the end of the period already paid for.
3. Where the association is not acting as a consumer, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply. The agreement between us is our Association Page Agreement, and it governs.
4. Where we stop providing a plan, or end it for a reason that is not the association's breach, we return the part paid for and not provided.
5. Where we end it because our terms were broken, access ends and we do not return what has already been used.

If we owe you money

1. We refund to the payment method used, unless that is impossible and we agree another with you. It costs you nothing either way.
2. We pay within 14 days of agreeing that a refund is due.
3. Your bank may take a few days more to show it.
